We are looking for an in-house, well presented,pro-active, bright, positive personality to join our team.

Are you currently completing your degree and seeking some experience or hold Cert IV in Bookkeeping and have a strong willingness to learn and improve personally and professionally?

Skills & experience

  • Cert IV in Bookkeeping or higher

  • 3 Years bookkeeping experience

  • Experience in preparing BAS statements

  • Excellent data entry skills

  • Xero Certification

  • Knowledge of QBO & Reckon

  • High-level computer skills

  • Genuinely cares about the improvement in the lives and businesses of our clients and is proud of their contribution towards it.

  • Excellent skills with Microsoft word and excel

  • Outstanding phone mannerisms and customer service

  • Punctual

  • Can work independently and in a team environment

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Attention to detail & accuracy

  • Strong use of various cloud programs such as,

    • OneDrive, DropBox, Google Drive

    • Skype, Zoom

    • HubDoc, Receipt Bank

    • Adobe or DocuSign

  • Understanding of tax-related terms such as, PAYGi, PAYGw, GST and Income tax and is able to communicate and organise documents using these terms clearly, verbally and written

  • Sound understanding of advertising and communication channels such as

    • Facebook

    • LinkedIn

    • Instagram

    • Mail Chimp

    • Canva

    • Google Ads

    • Social Media scheduling programs 

 
 

Duties

  • ·         Reconciliation through accounting software

  • ·         Data entry via excel and spreadsheet creations

  • ·         Identifying accounting errors and data irregularities

  • ·         Preparation of BAS & IAS statements

  • ·         Organisation of documents via cloud sources  

  • ·         Payroll processing

  • ·         Preparation of financial reports

  • ·         Use of various cloud systems

  • ·         Management of accounts receivable and payable on behalf of organisations

  • ·         General reception duties

  • ·         Management of appointment calendar

  • ·         Assisting accountants in organisation of duties
